Travel CO₂ is an information platform for travel related carbon emission data and visualizations. Our climate data is based on transparent methodology developed by independent researchers at Chalmers University of Technology and KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden.

The Travel CO₂ tools were originally developed as an extension of the klimatsmartsemester.se and travelandclimate.org development project, aimed at contributing to more sustainable tourism by providing a digital platform with tools and knowledge that promotes opportunities for travel with a low climate impact.

Our climate calculations are based on the latest climate data from researchers at Chalmers University of Technology and KTH Royal institute of Technology in Sweden. The methodology is based on Travel & Climate and a methodology report is available for download here.
